Aaron and Neil always did everything together. They had the same friends, volunteered at the same nursing home, took the same extracurricular classes, and sat in the same classrooms most of the time. No wonder that when Aaron was dared in his second year of high school that he wouldn’t last at the school radio station, he dragged Neil along with him. They made it through the whole year there and not only won fifty dollars each, they also kicked off their now senior year at Palmetto High School as the hosts of Foxes Calling.

Or at least that’s how Neil remembered it from the last time he saw him, before he transferred to a boarding school.
