Summary
Damian is a physician returning to America after years of working overseas. He has spent his life traveling from place to place, providing medical care wherever it was needed, never staying longer than necessary. He was content with that life, even if he sometimes wondered what it would be like to have a place to call home—something that had always felt out of reach and long accepted as such.
Now working in a hospital in New York due to a shortage of doctors, he finds himself closer to his past than he has been in years. Being back in the same country as his family and in a city like New York brings old memories to the surface. He wonders, briefly, if they will ever meet again.
Most likely not.
His family never cared for him to begin with.
And that was fine… He would continue to cherish them from a distance, even if it was never reciprocated. As long as they were healthy and happy. There was nothing more he could ask for.
So, what if he was suddenly needed in Gotham?
He should have known the moment he stepped off that plane.
His plan of staying away wouldn’t go as planned.

Summary
When Sonic was just a child, he was taken in by GUN. He was raised and trained with the hope that one day, he could be the upper hand they need to capture Shadow, a dangerous and powerful creature that escaped their clutches fifty years ago and has been in hiding ever since. After they’re alerted to Shadow’s location, his capture is inevitable. As Sonic witnesses the inhuman treatment his fellow colleagues cast upon the hedgehog, he starts to question his life and how he’s treated by his “family”. He finds himself deeply drawn to this enigmatic, misanthropic hedgehog, the only individual he’s ever met that looks like him and understands the animalistic parts of him. Distance grows between him and GUN with each word spoken between him and Shadow. Sonic must figure out where his loyalties lie and who the real animals are.

In this story there are kids in hell, and they are very much viewed and treated as lower class citizens. Alastor is one of them. We begin with how he lived and how he died. Followed by how he survives in hell as a 12 year old, and eventually becomes an overlord.

He always knew.
His parents didn't seem to care about his well-being, nor did they seem to notice the damage to his fingers. The blisters remained like a scar, a constant reminder of his struggle.
His group of friends was the only thing that mattered to him and the reason he fought to keep going, but since he had been practicing to give his best for the recital, they hadn't had time to talk to each other—and it wasn't as if Mari wanted him to be distracted from the recital either.
Sometimes, he wished he had never been born, or that he would die the day before the recital so he would no longer be a nuisance in his family's life. Even if his parents didn't want it, it would make their lives easier; and although his friends loved him as one of their own, by messing up too many times, he ended up ruining everything with his friendships. He had nothing left.
If he had died, everything would be happier...
However, one had to be careful what they wished for.
Perhaps... it could come true.

Omega Mart appeared to be just another typical big-box store from the outside—fluorescent, uninspiring, the kind of place you visit and quickly forget. And one day after a long chat with him Izuku goes home only to be greeted with hateful hands and a mother who can’t seem to find it in herself to love her son.
Everything has fallen apart. Izuku decides he’s so very tired of picking up the pieces and he’s so sick of saving people and he just wishes someone would.. he wishes someone could’ve saved him from this life.
He decides to take his life…
Eraser, who had followed him home after their chat, witnesses all of this and decides he can’t not save this kid. And so he does…
Izuku wakes up in the hospital with a chance at a normal life or at least what’s normal for him, with friends and family, and a boy he loves.
But everything falls apart just as quickly as it came… and izuku is left having to pick up the pieces but this time he’s not doing it alone.
