Elrond sighs, with resignation that Bilbo detects without looking at him. “Yes. The forests on the Mountain, the fields around Dale, and the city itself have been burned. Many people have lost their lives, and those who survived have nothing.”
Is that not familiar as well, Bilbo muses bitterly. “But Gandalf is there to help them,” he says and wishes he could have said the same about his own people and land. “So it all should be well.”
Elrond does not reply. His silence lasts long enough for Bilbo to understand it.

In which Bilbo, after losing his home, many neighbours and family in a catastrophic flood, travels East in hopes of helping the survivors of dragon fire... and ends up losing his heart as well. To the King of Erebor, no less.

Summary
With mounting worries of wolf and orc attacks in The Shire, the Thain calls upon an old agreement with Durin’s Folk of old— a marriage of convenience. Bilbo Baggins, the Thain’s grandson and Master of Bag End, represents the hobbits of The Shire while Thorin II Oakenshield, Heir Prince Under the Mountain, represents the dwarves of Erebor. Both must abide by this ancient agreement with the pressure of their families and for the betterment of their people.
Bilbo and Thorin will enter the courting of both cultures— Thorin will travel to the Shire for nine months, and then Bilbo to Erebor for nine months. All hope everything goes well...

Kili couldn’t help but quicken his pace a little when Bag-End came into view. He smiled until his face hurt, it’d been almost two years since he’d seen their burglar last, just after the battle, and he didn’t want to waste another moment.
His smile fell, though, just a touch, when he saw the state of the gardens. The first time he’d visited, they’d been pristine, maintained and cared for as if belonging to royalty. Now, though, the garden was overgrown, weeds taking over half of it, dead plants everywhere. He worried for Bilbo, knowing the hobbit’s propensity for propriety, and he knocked on the door, heart racing at the thought of something bad happening to his friend.
“Just a minute!” Came the burglar’s voice from inside, and Kili relaxed infinitesimally. When the door flew open, his eyes widened. “Bilbo!”

Thorin pulled into the long and winding driveway of Bag End Stables. The path was decorated with neatly kept flowers on either side. The trees that littered the grounds were starting to turn fiery shades of red and orange, as a crisp autumn breeze gently swayed their branches. Altogether, the farm painted a very pretty picture. There was a large barn that held about 20 stalls, by Thorin’s estimate of the size, and a small indoor ring for riding. The rolling hills were filled with fields fenced off for the horses, with lush grass and ample space for them to stretch out and play, and a large outdoor ring. Crowning the tallest hill was a small house with a green door. It was not the fanciest farm, and it was certainly rustic, but it was well kept and obviously well loved. -

Bilbo Baggins inherited Bag End very young, after his parents death. His pompous cousin Lobelia has searched for 30 years for a way to keep that big smial hers, and finally when Bilbo is already 51 she finds through some legal hoops a way in wich if Bilbo doesn't marry he'll have to give up the last shred of his family's memories. Meanwhile,Thorin Oakenshield must find the key to regain his nomadic people's land back, even if he must embark on the sea and dirty his hands to become the most ruthless pirate any Valar has seen.
How will their stories interwine? and how will they navigate what both of them thought they were too old to experience once more at their age. With a little drunkness, a little stubborness, a little kindapping attempt and a lot of ocean's salty air we'll have to see!

On the night of Frodo Baggins’ birth, a Seductress named Neida becomes Frodo’s godmother. This longing takes its toll, for Drogo and Primula Baggins, Frodo’s parents, keep their son away from the Seductress.
Shortly after the death of Frodo’s parents, Frodo is met by the Seductress, as Neida attempts to befriend him. Their friendship grows in more ways than one, as Frodo becomes almost as good as Neida with seduction. However, on Frodo’s twenty-first birthday, Frodo grows fond of his newfound friend, a hobbit named Gale Boffin. Enraged, Neida decides to lure Frodo to her lair in the Paris Opera House.
Can Frodo resist Neida’s powers? Will Gale stop Neida? And what of the Phantom of the Opera himself, who has taken Neida under his wing as his student?
A crossover between The Lord of the Rings and The Phantom of the Opera.
