Summary
After realizing you were in a dire need of change having worked as a corporate slave feeling like your life was wasting away at one of Joja's offices, you find yourself moving to the country your grandpa had immigrated to when he was young and also in a similar position.
But, with the conflict of the war between the Ferngill Republic and The Gotoro Empire heating up more than ever you fear how the townspeople will treat you only to come and realize nobody actually knows that you're from the very place their own country is at war.
You feel at peace believing you can live a somewhat normal life, saddened that it however has to be while hiding who you truly are.
That is until you meet a certain guy there and fall in love and you realize you have to dive deeper into this than you believed.
This Fic was inspired by one of Sam's lines and I decided to write a little fic around it as he's also one of my favorite bachelors. I also wanted to explore one of the most interesting pieces of lore to me in the game as it's not really touched that much upon but is so interesting. I hope anybody who reads enjoys :3
