A flash of blue ignited in the darkness, sparked from Leo's rage flaring up when he aggressively accused: "You didn't TELL them!!?"
"I..." before Barry had a chance to respond, the enraged slider demanded in no uncertain terms: "TELL them TO-NIGHT!!!" Then he was gone - leaving to spend as much time with his family as possible before sunrise came to force him back to that lonely place of Limbo.

They thought things would be fine. Everything will be peaceful again. After regaining New York City back, saving their father and defeating the Kraang. Things were surely going back to normal. During a patrol mission, they once again came across the kraang working on a device. Caught in this "device" explosion. They woke up in the middle of new york. Just not their new york. Everything was colorful and loud. Shortly learning wherever they were, this place also ended an invasion not to long ago. Coming across their counterpart but learning, they won't be any help to them. After saying the "forbidden word," their counterpart mostly one of them. They weren't trusting them completely.
They must find a way back home to stop the kraang once again. But how in this new world of mystery mystic power unknown to them. And without the help of their counterparts.

Heavily focuses on themes of learning to love oneself, forgiveness, overcoming trauma, and strengthening familial bonds. Features many Rise-ified characters from various iterations, insert artwork for specifc moments (chapters 18, 24, 31, 39, 50, and 76 currently), and is planned for four major arcs. Source - Rise Of The TMNT, a few 2012 TMNT referancesthe war starts and Raph is killed when saving Donnie from a Kraang attack. Leo blames Donnie for it, and Mikey takes no sides. As Donnie tries holding on to his last bits of sanity, he has PTSD flashbacks and meltdowns. Without his brothers support, he goes a little coocoo bananzas. He runs away from their home and joins forces with the kraang. He soon becomes Kraang Prime, becoming part mutant turtle and part Kraang. He produces many clones of himself to fool his family and friends.
