The third child was far less noisy than the second, and didn’t have enough teeth yet to make his gnawing biting dangerous. He was, however, extremely wriggly.
Draxum had tried swaddling him too tightly to move, but after that resulted in horrible wails and screams, given up and simply let Donatello repeatedly attempt to climb up his arm.
“I clearly made the wrong one of you squishy,” Draxum grumbled. This earned him a threatening squint and a very deliberate chomp on his fingers. “Yes, yes, you’re very scary.”

Draxum is a yokai not without his faults. With such a short timeframe to show his personality during his 'redemption arc', many believe him to have not changed at all, even if he is shown to be part of the clan by the end of the season
I would only be fair to give him what the show didn't have, then: more time to prove himself
or, when each Hamato Clan member comes to accept Barry as someone they either now tolerate or learn to accept as part of their strange little family

It surprises Ling how quiet his mind is afterwards. He doesn’t remember it being this quiet before Greed. Surely it must have been a side affect of the philosopher stone being ripped away from him - maybe it took more with it than he had realised. He almost laughs when he thinks of it and how appropriate that was considering this was Greed he was talking about.
At the same time though, a part of him knows what that nagging feeling is. He knows it the same way he knows that there's a silence in his own head for a sound that wasn't a sound but had become as familiar as his own heartbeat. And without it he feels empty. Not the way Greed felt empty - not in that way of constantly chasing some unknown Something - but rather, the thing which Ling feels is missing has a far more distinct shape to it. Both in the gap left in the silence of his head...and the gap left in his life without Greed in it.
Following The Promised Day Ling contemplates his relationship with Greed now that he's gone.
