Summary
Flayn sleeps, for a long, long time, across the centuries. Seteth waits for her to wake up. There is a little more to it than that, however.
The legends about the Saints, Seteth could tell you, are not exactly accurate. Cichol's so called Holy Pilgrimage after the final battle of the War of Heroes was not that brave and noble of a prowess.
Or, Cichol sets out on a journey and forgets a dozen of lifetimes, in a desperate search for the family he lost.

Summary
“White magic, it directs life, mends it, wills it to stand again. It’s warm, can you feel it, dear?” Her mother had once said. “Wield with great care, because you will be a beacon of comfort when the fight brings the cold, attracting both your friends and your foes.”
A decade and a bit more had to pass before Mercedes could grasp the meaning of her mother’s words: in the battlefield, thieves and Imperial soldiers alike spotted the staff in her hands and converged towards her to stop her magic from reaching her allies forever. Her friends, they all gravitated towards her, limping and wincing, circling around her with their shields, as she would call upon the flow of the ether around her and close their wounds.
Or, the Blue Lions through the years, gravitating towards each other in this cold harsh world, and how Mercedes' room becomes the headquarter for a big cuddling pile.
(Based on how Mercedes' room has multiple chairs put together in a circle.)

Rocky exhales a puff of air from his radiator the way a human would. He wonders when certain habits became second nature to him, like tilting his carapace and bobbing it up and down as though nodding, and he wonders, too, whether the time spent with Grace hasn't changed them both beyond repair, until they've become almost strangers to their own species. No longer Eridian, no longer human, but simply Rocky and Grace.

I lived with this hunger long before the Hail Mary. This is nothing new. I’m fine.
Right up until Rocky asks another question.
“When last time you touch other human person skin, question?”
Oh. Oh no. “When I… a few days after I first woke up here.”
Rocky starts to relax for a split second, but then tightens when something occurs to him.
“Grace crewmates dead when you wake up. You said this, statement. You not even know your own name, remember nothing, see dead bodies, confirm?”
I nod, because if I open my mouth I will gag.
“When last time Grace touch ALIVE human person, question.”
I swallow thickly. I don’t answer aloud because I know Rocky can hear the hitch in my breath. My stomach churns with fresh bile. He senses my vital signs tick over into stress patterns and goes very, very still again.
“Grace. When last time, question.”
I clench my jaw so hard my temples ache, and beg him with my eyes to just stop.
“Grace. Please say not when… when Evil Stratt humans put you to sleep.”
I can taste grass.
