He also, in no particular order, gets therapy, does a lot of crime, channels his inner cyberbully, steals another Batmobile, moves to Metropolis (temporarily), causes an Arkham breakout, gets kidnapped, kidnaps someone else, and accidentally becomes a supervillain somewhere along the way.

Summary
“Baby Bird?” Jason’s voice shifted, softened into something almost fragile, as if he were speaking to a child. Maybe, in his eyes, Tim was exactly that. The familiar nickname—so wrong, so tender—sent a tremor down Tim’s spine. Jason never called him that. Jason never spoke to him with warmth.
Jason hated Tim.
He shut his eyes tight, praying this was just a cruel dream. But then warm hands cupped his face, grounding him. A metallic clatter echoed through the cave, sharp and final. The gun had hit the floor.
“No, no, no—don’t close those blue eyes, Baby Bird. Look at me,” this time Jason’s voice cracked into a plea. Every word trembled with fear, with a need that made Tim’s chest tighten painfully. Tim bit down on a sob, the taste of salt and blood filling his mouth, forcing himself to lift his gaze and meet the toxic green fire of Jason’s eyes once more. He could feel the tremor in Jason’s hands, the way his knees pressed into the cold floor, and it made his own body ache with tension.

It's been proven to Tim several times that 'dead' doesn't exactly mean gone. For once it's not Ra's being a weirdo stalker, but someone else from his past... Meanwhile the rest of Tim's family would very much like their over-caffeinated, sleep deprived brother to stop wandering off to the other side of the planet, thanks.

Merlin is Emrys, and Emrys is lord of the druids. Merlin would rather just be Merlin, but no he is high lord of the druids. Who has time for that? Not Merlin, so he accepts help from where ever he can get it, even if it is from Mordred. Arthur trusts the boy, even knowing he is a druid.

Summary
Miya Atsumu hasn't been in a jaeger in five years.
He still wakes up early as hell, goes to work on The Wall like every other sorry bastard that needs some money, picks up Osamu's medicine on the way home, puts on an apron and helps his twin brother manage his little onigiri shop.
He wouldn't dare say it, but he misses it, fighting monsters, feeling *useful*. But that's unfair, and if this is how he feels, he can't imagine what its like for Osamu.
Sakusa Kiyoomi has never wanted to step foot in a jaeger. He's perfectly fine doing his part from a support role, even though the whole world expected him to put on a jumpsuit and jump right into the action. He can barely stand breathing the same air as most people, he's not sharing his brain with them.
Maybe Kiyoomi feels a little guilty, training cadets and shouting instructions from behind his desk while his students put their lives on the line. But its not like he can just suit up and rush into battle.
There's a reason he never set foot in a jaeger, and its not *only* his germaphobia standing in his way.
