You really, really, really have to wonder which religion got it right when the afterlife turns out to be a reincarnation as a heroine in some cheap, fanservice-laden Japanese battle-harem anime. Even if it's some show she's never heard nor seen before, the plot beats are always predictable, right?
Ana Schariac knows the plot has her name on it, and she intends to live.
(Tl;dr: SI-OC reincarnates into Honkai Impact 3rd, thinks she's in the likes of Infinite Stratos. Where the bloody hell is the damn protagonist?)

When that day shatters before your eyes, you set your sights on more desperate prospects—or rather they set their sights on you. You can’t trust anyone, especially a denizen of the City, but that game didn’t lie, didn’t it? If anyone could free you from the chains of this world, surely it would be her and that company’s capabilities, right?
Hope is a fluttering and yet powerful thing. You were once miserably satisfied with finding a living within the Backstreets of the City, but with both of the things that you need so closely within reach, is it selfishness to want to hold onto that hope with all you have left?
(Is it greed if you decide to push the plot along a little to the left every now and then?)
