Summary
The task force just finished a mission – but it was too close a call for Captain Price, and so he has organised a bit of downtime for the team to unwind and get into shape again. After collecting the teams' input, Price is working out the holes they painfully figured out on their last mission, trying to now optimise and stabilise the team further. He's almost drowned himself in what-if scenarios when he gets a call from Laswell telling him she's willing to lend him her favourite knife.

It's a reader insert, but Reader is male. I'm not confident enough in my English that I would be able to keep it gender neutral for the whole amount of texts I have planned, and I'd hate to make someone feel uncomfortable with the wrong pronouns. So I chose Male!Reader because that seems to be a bit more uncommon and so... This is for all the male Reader x CoD fans that sometimes get the short end of the stick. Reader has no name, but he has a call sign. Also, Roach is very much alive in my world, and so is Soap.
Canon? I don't know her, your honour.
