Summary
We all know “The Goat” by heart, but what happens when you spend the night at Logan's Hideout instead of returning to Sandrock right away? I present my version of this pivotal mission, one heavily laced with canon and headcanon dialogue. ⊹ Though you seem to start off on the wrong foot, as the night wears on, you and Logan share some incredibly sweet moments that ultimately lay the foundation for your undeniably strong partnership (see the work tags for a spoiler!). ⊹ In the spirit of full transparency, I aimed to create a more in-depth version of the Builder's introduction ("you") to the gang and how their individual friendships come to fruition. I also strive to answer a few burning questions: how and why does Logan trust you so deeply and what did he think about that first spark you shared after the Water Tower incident? ⊹ I'll leave it there and let you dive into their slow burn, budding romance!
