Until one random scout remembers the golden Guard was the only one not at the scene of the crime or in a suspiciously plot-convenient turn of events the only one not suspicious. Clearly that means he should be the replacement emperor until belos comes back, right?

Takes place after Labyrinth runners, where Hunter gets a surprising promotion after finding out his entire life is a lie.
