Summary

He finds Will brighter, more social, less repressed, and he seems happy with his new boyfriend, Carlton, but things aren’t what they appear.The two explore Will’s new life, while Mike battles nostalgia, his heart’s heavy yearning, and his own morals. If Will is happy, that’s all that matters- or at least that’s what he tells himself. The more time they spend, the more the lines seem to blur, and it becomes harder to ignore the feelings between them that maybe never really went away.

And Mike suddenly has a lot of feelings about that.
“Lucas, your turn,” Max said, biting her lips.
Lucas didn’t turn his head to face her. They had this telepathic link between them, after dating for several years. Mike hated it. “Dare.”
Max leaned into her hands, thinking. “I dare you to kiss Will.”
Mike’s eyes went wide, then wider. He stuttered, “why are you doing all the daring, huh?”
“Because I can.”

Summary
The next time they talk about it is when Dustin brings up the rumors of other boys doing something called ‘circle jerks’. Mike and Dustin argue that it definitely happens while Lucas and Will vehemently deny it.
Lucas probably because he doesn’t understand why they would want to. Will doesn’t believe it because how could they call him queer, a fairy if they’re the ones jerking off in front of each other.
He’s not sure how that evolved into them being involved in one, but here they are. Dustin and Mike’s curiosity won over Lucas’s resistance and Will had been preoccupied with trying to hide his excitement at the possibility.
