“Look.” Ed says, pointing forwards, stacks of clouds close to the orange sun. “See. What does that mean?”
“I— why are you asking me?” Stede huffs, near a laugh.
“Because, captain, this is your quiz. Taught you all this shit ages ago. Now—”
Ed takes Stede’s hand in his own, and lifts it to point to their left to a wide band of near lavender clouds, radiating outwards in candy-floss pufts.
“Is that good or bad?” Ed asks.

Summary
Stede’s been bringing his queer book club to Ed’s bar for a couple of months now, and Ed’s been nursing a bit of a crush (okay a lot of a crush) basically since the moment he walked in. He doesn’t intend to act on it, doesn’t really think Stede would be interested in him anyway, but then he overhears them talking about their most recent book - a smutty romance that Lucius picked. Stede didn’t enjoy it, doesn’t think relationships like that exist in the real world. That all-consuming, ‘can’t keep your hands off each other’, desperate wanting. And, well, he can’t have that. Stede might just be the guy of his dreams, so if nothing else Ed knows he can show Stede what it feels like to be wanted.

Summary
Stede decides to give a new yoga class a go, though he’s not entirely convinced tbh. Until he goes to leave that is. Outside is quite possibly the most beautiful man to ever walk the earth, waiting for his own evening class, whatever that might be. It’s enough to convince Stede to return again the next week. Meanwhile, Ed wasn’t expecting to cross paths with a Hot Blonde before his class but he certainly isn’t going to miss a chance to get his attention again. Over the next five weeks the pair of them go to increasingly desperate measures to ‘capture the other’s interest’ in the moments between their classes - their outfits get smaller, tighter and sluttier as the weeks progress, whilst they both also try to find the courage, and the words, to actually strike up a conversation and ask the other on a date.
Or, five times these beautiful idiots oggle each other between their evening exercise classes, and one time they actually go on a date about it.
