Ink has been dating Blue for nearly a year now. And, more recently, he's been dating Error as well for the past few months. All parties are completely aware, though, and they're pretty okay with how things currently are. You know, aside from all the problems their disasterous dynamic has.
Ink doesn't know how to balance his time with his partners, both Blue and Error are secretly pining for each other but too afraid to admit it, Blue can't figure out how to properly address his feelings in a way that doesn't involve shoving them away and pretending everything is fine, and to top it all off Error, the infamous universe destroyer, is the one stuck between this mess trying to patch it back together.
So, what better idea than to throw an unexpected baby into the mix?

But he kept tabs on all the Councilors and didn’t recognize him. Maybe a Tower mech, or a- Wait. Dust was on his couch after yet another long day at work when he saw a blinding flash of light in his garden. Getting up he slowly approached the bay window to take a look outside... and saw four strange skeletons dressed as a viking, a noble, a knight and a Roman yelling in foreign languages at each other.
He didn't know why he opened the window nor why he invited them inside, but he did, and by doing so he sealed the beginning of a very weird adventure with his four new roommates...

Nightmare wasn't too upset at the announcement of his betrothal. He had excepted long ago he would be wed, would take another at his arm to rule. He hadn't expected it to come so soon.
He has no doubt the suitors his mother will have picked out will be lovely, but not to his taste. So he is much surprised when he finds each of them have an energy he is drawn to.
And as it turns out, perhaps the biggest problem isn't picking the best of the worst, but picking between four men that he loves.

Error watches, unflinching, as the skeleton's giant knife materializes, slicing through the stillness of the void. The vibrant glitches around his fingers pulsate more vividly in response, mirroring the tension. Despite the display of power, Error’s demeanor remains composed, almost amused by the dramatic reaction.
"You can call me Error. As for how I arrived here," he gestures loosely around them with a hand threaded with glitches, "I travel where the code calls, where anomalies beckon. Where the multiverse needs cleaned of anything that could harm it, and this place," he pauses, glancing around the stark whiteness, much like his own home, "Screamed for attention."
His gaze settles back on Cross, the colorful chaos of his form stark against the void. "You, however, are an interesting anomaly. Fighting so fiercely, clinging to existence in a world that has seemingly been erased." Error hummed, eyes still searching.

Nightmare was in the middle of speaking to the murder trio when he felt it, the distinct feeling of despair that was overwhelming. It was something he had felt before ending up with the three of his cohorts- wards- no, the better phrasing these days would be 'his boys'. He was the oldest by a few hundred years, and they were like children, but in adult form.
Anyway, it was that exact feeling that had drawn him to each of them, with Killer it was despair mixed with overwhelming guilt. With Dust, it was an emptiness that had come along, just knowing the human was no longer interested in resetting after Dust had murdered over and over, letting him drown in it. With Horror it had been an overwhelming hunger that had caused overwhelming food anxiety that took forever to get under control.
This- this despair was like that, but there was a sadness, a loneliness, and he could taste it more than any other form of negativity right now. It was the strongest feeling throughout the multiverse and it was calling to him, practically screaming at him.

“NiGHTmAR3.” Error’s voice always has had a raspy, dry tone to it, and the tar-covered skeleton in question merely smiles at the glare Error gives him.
“Hello, Error. You seem pleased to see me.” Nightmare gestures vaguely to the charged blasters. Error narrows his eyes a little more, and Nightmare sees his stare go a little more focused. Focused on him. Nightmare knows Error fully intends to make a point of being able to slaughter Nightmare, but Nightmare always finds it amusing that Error gives him more attention than most fights.
“I c0UlD kILL YOU. R1GHT HEr3. AND NO 0N3 WOULd CAr3.” Blunt. Unforgiving. Error never pulls his punches with his threats.
My headcannon of how I like to imagine Error and Nightmare's relationship from the beginning (or almost the beginning).
Nightmare wants to make an alliance with Error, as, having the Destroyer assist him would certainly make history with how much power they would have. To Nightmare, it seems mutually beneficial, although Error has different outlooks on the situation. Nightmare continues to pester Error, using every tactic he knows to coerce Error into joining him- And gaining a fondness for Error somewhere along the way. -
