Fast forward to where I am now, I’m a coach to a high school volleyball team.

Summary
Daichi Sawamura goes through increasingly stressful trials of physical and mental strength including a bear attack, fighting a serial killer and trying to protect a suicidal teen over the course of a decade that decimate his will to live and severely warp his perception of himself, life and value to the world. He's madly in love with Suga and becomes trauma bonded to the other five captains, Kuroo, Bokuto, Oikawa and Ushijima. There's lots of angst and trauma but ultimately comfort and a warm ending, but truly these captains can't catch a break.
