Summary
Danny has freshly turned 18, yay! He's officially made it to adulthood... if you ignore the fact that he's only half alive. That also means that now the Observants are chasing after him in order to make him the King of the Infinite Realms, good thing there happens to be a conveniently placed door when the eyeballs try and sneakily place the crown on him in the Realms. Hopefully where ever he winds up is cool with him chilling there for a bit!

Tim is tired, hurt, and ready to go bed after patrol when someone bursts into his apartment (from the closet door?! How?) while he's still mostly in his Red Robin suit. Guess he's going to have to do some investigating into this handsome stranger before he can go to bed.

Summary
The Jinlan City Arc but Shen Qingqiu arrives a teeny bit earlier and reacts in true Startled Shizun fashion when there's a sower demon about to infect his favorite disciple. Head empty, only move Binghe out of the way and murder the threat.
Luo Binghe is worried that he may be misinterpreting his master's actions and seeing what he wants to see (Shizun had been excessively violent after all... perhaps he was only taking out his anger after seeing his gross demon disciple...), but when he checks in on Shen Qingqiu later, he is greeted with, "If Lord Luo addresses this master as 'Shizun', shall he expect him to make his return to Qing Jing?"
(To Shen Yuan, who is rapidly losing all his Cool Villain Points from the insurmountable levels of awkwardness, this is just making conversation. Why is the Protagonist nodding so happily and packing his bags?!?)

No… he was hugging him; arms wrapped around his neck, pulling him close as if his life depended on it — and perhaps it did. Because there, in the midst of all the people staring at the scene in astonishment, including his own disciple, he laid his heart bare for Luo Binghe to hold, openly revealing the scars left by his absence.
“This master regrets…”

Summary
Shen Yuan could not be said to be a villainfucker. He didn't like villains in the way villainfuckers did. He liked them the way normal people did, by coming up with increasingly elaborate revenge fantasies to enact on their soon-to-be-corpses.
Luo Binghe was the exception.
The main character of Proud Immortal Cultivator Way was pretty meh as far as protagonists went. Shen Jiu was just as shallow and petty as every other cultivation power fantasy hero—hardly worth writing home about. He started small and got powerful, yipee. Welcome to every cultivation progression story on Zhongdian Literature.
But Luo Binghe.
Luo Binghe was why Shen Yuan kept reading.
