“Besides,” Regina says, looking from her son, 400 miles away, to his other mother sitting beside her on the couch in the study, “I’ve already gotten us a room.”
“You have?”
“Oh, good!” Henry looks relieved. “I mean, the email about graduation stuff said finding rooms can be tricky. So, that’s good, Mom.” He beams at them both.
“Wait. A room? As in, singular?” Emma questions.
“Well,” Regina frowns, “yes. It was really all they had left, and I wanted to stay at the Charles since it’s right there in Cambridge and close to campus.”
“That’s great, mom!” Henry repeats, but Emma is still staring at the woman sitting next to her.
“So, like,” she licks her lips. “We’re going to be … roommates?”
Regina glares at her, but then sighs when Henry laughs from the screen. “Yes, Miss Swan,” she agrees finally. “Roommates. For two nights only. Do you think you can handle that?”

Rio quickly fished around for their wallet, pulled out a bill, and forced their legs to push their body up and stick one leg in front of the other until they were at the bit of the stage where people were meant to tip before they talked themself out of it. The woman’s eyes were strikingly blue. And Rio had been paying so much attention to the color it wasn’t until the bill slipped into the woman’s fingers and her expertly-shaped brows minutely raised in surprise that Rio saw Benjamin Franklin’s face on the bill.
Okay, fuck. What was Rio going to do, take it back? They felt their face heat up as they dragged their feet back to their chair. It was a miracle they didn’t faint right there on the sticky bar floor.

Summary
Just the idea of Lena kissing her, is a lot and she’s shocked at how much she wants her to do just that. It makes sense, in this moment, casting spells and making unions. It could be another way in which they could truly connect their bodies and oh, Rao, this is new. Is this new? Kara’s not sure she knows anymore.
Maybe it’s the magic, the connection of the spell, binding them as one in some way Kara can’t comprehend, nor understand, or maybe it’s something that’s always been there? A longing, dormant in the back of her mind, waiting for a spark to awaken it. Her heart, her feelings. Lena.
“To us,” Kara says, knocking the entire drink back and trying to pull herself together.
