Summary
Jiang Cheng gets sex pollened while stuck in an island cave with Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji. They do their best to be helpful.
“Listen to me,” Wei Wuxian said. “You can’t take care of this on your own. Lan Zhan doesn’t exaggerate; you know that. You could die, Jiang Cheng.”
From over Wei Wuxian’s shoulder, Lan Wangji was shrugging out of his outer robes; it stilled Jiang Cheng for a moment, but the sight of him next spreading them out on the cave floor, like they were about to undergo some ritual deflowering, brought him swiftly back to life.
“Then I’ll die,” Jiang Cheng snarled, trying again to pull away. But the movement was careless, and fabric shifted painfully against his lap, more constricting now than he had realized. He fell forward, fully into Wei Wuxian’s arms, shaking and cursing.

Summary
Wen Ning was sure this death would be permanent. There wasn't a Wei Wuxian to resurrect him and he figured it was better that way. Almost all those he loved were gone anyway so there was no reason to stay. If given the chance there were things he would do differently. People he would talk to sooner. Relationships he would foster faster. But he was dead, and there would be no third time.
Turns out the Universe had a horrible sense of humor.

Summary

Lan Wangji thought that he had successfully pushed his childhood crush out of his mind. Coming face to face with said crush during a mating run makes him realise that he never forgot Wei Wuxian, even after he became the fearsome Yiling Laozu. What's more, after Wei Wuxian almost claims him as his mate, he finds that he was waiting all along for a reason to follow Wei Wuxian and stay by his side.
The newly-founded Yiling sect needs any help it can get to develop so Lan Wangji decides to follow Wei Wuxian back to the Burial Monds to make his dream a reality. There, he finds Jiang Wanyin, whom he has not seen since the war and who acts strangely in Lan Wangji's presence.
