Later that night, she gets drunk and impulsively wishes to doom the world. Her wish is heard by her childhood rival Damian Desmond, who is actually the deity of destruction called 'Doom' - in other words, the very personification of all misfortune!
Damian, tired of immortality and his unfortunate role among humanity, sees Anya's wish as the perfect way to cease his miserable, endless existence.
Realizing the gravity of her mistake, Anya chooses to enter into a 100-day contract with Damian, where he'll take away her pain and symptoms, and she must formally wish for him to end the world before her time is up.

This is my take on "beefing up the original plot" or "fix-it". Canon divergence increases as the story progresses.

Original version of A Berlint Proposal, preserved here for archival purposes and for anyone who would like to revisit where it all began.
Twenty five year old Anya Forger has her dream job as a junior writer on Bondman: The Live Series, but the pay is...not great Luckily, her university roommate turned best friend, Becky Blackbell, occasionally hires her to pose in her place on blind dates arranged by her father.
One of these blind dates brings Anya face to face with Damian Desmond, the new President of Berlint Television, the network where she works.
Ewen Egeburg, Damian’s Vice President and right hand man, meets Becky and falls for her immediately, even as Becky struggles under the weight of her father’s expectations and the life already planned for her.
As Damian continues to spend time with Anya, regardless of who she is pretending to be, he begins to feel something he cannot ignore. Anya Forger, with her underpaid job and unassuming presence, shouldn't be anything special.
Setting and premise highly inspired by the manhwa/k-drama A Business Proposal.

An absolute gem of a fic that's currently being rewritten! Got hooked since the first chapter because I love kdramas and Business Proposal, which this story was based on. The romantic tension is delicious, and the workplace comedy is hilarious! The world-building is also super detailed and vivid, making it easy to visualize everything as if it were a movie. magical_realist is a truly brilliant writer, so please check this out as well as her other Damianya works! 👑
