Summary
Petey has been sharing custody of Lil’ Petey for a month now. Dog Man has become part of Petey’s family in a way. However, Petey doubts if his feelings for Dog Man are real or if he is truly worthy of having a second chance at life. A chance to redeem himself. What if he can never stop being evil? What if he isn’t as good of a dad as Dog Man says he is? Should he just…let Dog Man take LP and he himself rot away from the world? He doesn’t feel worthy. Would he ever be?

Petey had always been known for being reserved with his feelings and thoughts. He hides under a cover of anger and fear. But everything takes a step further when he also has to hide a mysteriously familiar sickness that festers on the one feeling he hides the most, his love for Greg.
Petey will do everything in his power to hide all the symptoms from those he loves, so they can live freely as they wish.
Unknown to him, the only thing a certain police officer wishes is for his feelings to be reciprocated by the cat. Sadly, both are too oblivious to understand that they have the same goal until it's almost too late for Petey's body to bear.

A man with the head of a dog, it was a weird experience but everyone found him charming and adorable, he was always there to lend a helping paw? and cared for everyone in ohkay city. He even beat the most evilest cat in the world and saved the city countless time, life was good for dogman and everyone loved him! cause he was a good boy!
...Is that true though? Did everyone really accept the half dog, half man as one of them. What about the body he's wearing? The people who knew officer knight. His friends and family what did they think of the savior of ohkay city? And what about dogman, was this new change easy on him? Adjusting to his new reality, without any help or assistance from anyone. "He was a smart dog", they said. He'll surely figure it out.

That’s why we’re compromising,” he explains, clasping his fingers together. “That’s why we alternate Christmases.”
“So why don’t we just spend it all together?” Li’l Petey insists, confusion starting to lace his tone. “If we spend it all together, then we don’t have to alternate. You and Dog Man don’t have to spend Christmas without me and I don’t have to miss anyone. Win-win!”
“No way,” Petey tells him, not liking the route this conversation was taking.
“Yes way,” he retorts, refusing to take a no without a valid explanation.
