    Summary

Luke Skywalker dragged his dying father from the impending wreckage of the second Death Star, and— in what he thought was an act of utmost kindness— saved his life.

However, after more than two decades encased in diamond-like polymers, unyielding durasteel, and his former Master’s half-truths, Anakin Skywalker is quite unused to seeing things with his own eyes. His continued existence is a secret; of those who know he still lives, only his son trusts him.

The damage wrought against his long-broken body is now all but irreparable, and his medical needs are extensive and complex.

You are a Force-sensitive, highly-educated young woman identified and recruited by the very last Jedi Knight to care for and protect his ailing parent... but, what makes him think you’ll have better luck than the droids the former Sith Lord keeps destroying in his fits of guilt and rage?

Perhaps the answer to that is buried beneath the charred remnant of Darth Vader’s heart.

    Summary

"A sour taste of bile crawled up Yoshiki’s throat. He could not bring himself to open his mouth, not even to draw breath, terrified that he would be sick. A deep sense of unreality settled over him. This did not feel like his own body or his own life. It felt like he was watching from a distance as another person's world fell to pieces.

This wasn't supposed to happen. It wasn't supposed to end like this, not after they had come this far. He couldn't bear it alone.

Yoshiki’s trembling hand stroked Hikaru’s face in a twisted, desperate caress. He whispers, his voice raw as if his throat had been torn to shreds: "I'll fix this, okay? Everything will be alright. It'll pass."

He clutches Hikaru's corpse and wraps his arms around it, as if the embrace could absolve him of his sins.

    "I'll take it all away."

    - Yoshiki and Hikaru are two young scientists in the mid-1850s, dedicated to an impossible project: bringing life from death. It doesn't go as planned.
Or, a reinterpretation of Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein (2025) with The Summer Hikaru Dies. [This is just an AU and a fan-made work. I am not the creator or owner of these characters.]

    Summary

Everyone knew that Kenny McCormick was the poorest kid in town. They could crack jokes about it all they wanted, he really didn’t care, but most of them had no idea what really went on behind closed doors. They were all able to live semi-normal lives while Kenny had to work for every little thing he had and to help support his little sister however he could. It was exhausting and he was getting really fucking sick of it.

While Butters’ family may not be poor, that didn’t mean that life at home was all fine and dandy for him either. It was like constantly walking on eggshells, being hyper vigilant about every move he made and every word that came out of his mouth. He hated it, but what could he do? Honestly, he could only keep doing his best to stay on his parent’s good side and do what he was told. Anything to avoid negative consequences.

Neither of them knew what they were doing except whatever they could in order to survive in a world that only ever seemed to be against them. Maybe it was possible that they could eventually learn to survive together.

    Summary

Growing up is hard, no matter which way you look at it. Tweek's got his demons and Craig has his monsters, which of them wear human skin and which don't is irrelevant. They never asked for a solution, all either of them wanted was a friend.

Somewhere along the way through, it became less about just fighting the past and more about untangling the future. Neither of them knows how they got to where they are now, but when you think back to how it all started, all the forgotten moments and buried emotions, you'll find they really should have seen this coming.
