No, the giant robot titans who landed on your ignorant planet made it very clear that Earth and its pleasures were never yours to enjoy, so they took it from you. Humanity survives only by scraping by, standing strong together, and remaining ever thankful for the titan's generosity of allowing the very few of you that remain to live.
One titan, in particular, appears to be more generous than others, sparing your life and even showing curiosity towards you. However, you know that even a good man can do wicked deeds, and Optimus is far from innocent.

Crowley is a succesful sculptor in London whose statues are renowned for their quality and their stunning realism, so that one could swear they're going to come to life any moment. One day, Gabriel walks into his workshop and 'commissions' (ie demands) a different kind of statue from him, one which is more soft and cherubic. Well, putto-like, in any case. Crowley refuses but then ends up fascinated by the rough sketch left by the berk. It seems oddly familiar and soon, he finds himself entranced by what he's sculpting, talking to it and imbuing it with personality and eventually a name.

The angel is cute. Too cute for Crowley. It's disgusting and wrong... by all that is unholy, Crowley wants him. As for Aziraphale, there is definite tension on his side, only he refuses to believe an angel and demon should be together.
Basically, throughout the ages, and then through the apocalypse, the two ineffable husbands pine for each other until finally accepting they really are a match made in heaven (and hell).
