    Summary

"Why are we doing this in my room?" Gavus's voice sounds uncertain, almost timid, and it's so unlike his usual self—composed, cold, unapproachable. Now he stands in the middle of his immaculately clean bedroom, feeling like a teenager alone for the first time with the object of his desire.

Eugene is already busy behind him, deftly unbuttoning his pristine white shirt. His fingers move with frightening confidence, as if he's undressed Gavus a hundred times before, as if he knows every fastening on his clothes better than the owner himself.

"So you won't be able to tell dream from reality, my little dove," Eugene whispers directly into his ear, and a shiver runs down Gavus's spine.

    Summary

“...and so we wanted to ask,” — Cole laced his fingers together until they cracked — “could you maybe… well…”

“Watch the kids,” Geo finished for him, because his husband had been agonizing over the right words for a full minute now. “For a couple of hours. We want to go out… just the two of us. For the first time in five years.”

Lou set down his mug of hot chocolate and slowly shifted his gaze from one to the other. Something flickered in his eyes — surprise, or maybe mischief.

“You want to leave me with two children so you can go on a date?”

“Three,” Cole corrected. “Bonzle is also a child. Morally speaking.”

    Summary

He walked down the steps, carefully so as not to wake the child, and got into the car. Geo patted his shoulder. Bonzle turned in her seat and smiled. Even Fritz was snoring with some calm certainty — everything was okay.

Lou stood on the porch and watched them until the headlights disappeared around the corner. The house fell quiet again, but the silence no longer felt so empty.

It was filled with echoes — voices, footsteps, laughter.

And hope that now they would surely return.

    Summary

It seems his mind has finally grown tired of wandering through the past. Now there is only emptiness inside. Like the expanded domain of Aliaskar. Only there it is an endless scorching desert, while in his head now stretches an endless frozen wasteland of the Arctic.

    He likes the contrast.

    Summary

Before, every dawn was a challenge. Every night was a struggle for survival. His days were filled with anxiety, anger, pain, but also meaning. Now everything is stable. Calm. Quiet. And in this silence, Hasan feels... dead.

    Summary

His children had been asking—persistently—for a dog for a long time, but Hasan kept putting off the decision. Not because he couldn’t afford it. He simply didn’t know what kind of dog he wanted. Buying one didn’t sit right with him. He knew too well what it meant to be thrown into this world without protection. He wanted to take in a stray puppy. Give it a home, warmth, a name—just as he once did for his children.

“Why are you showing me this?”

“I enjoy watching your soul writhe in torment,” Maeva giggled, and as if on cue, the image became clearer. Now Kohaku saw only that damned garden. It felt as though she stood just a few meters from the gazebo, crafted for quiet reflections and leisurely conversations.
