Summary
Harry Potter defeated the last Dark Lord for good that Halloween night when his parents died. Yet, due to an unfortunate act of selfish revenge, he still wound up in the uncaring arms of his mum’s sister, beaten down and unloved. Until Severus remembered how to care about someone besides himself, when Harry was seven. Taking a strong role in Harry’s life, Severus taught Harry what it meant to be loved, and that family wasn’t defined by blood.

Summary
After Ron and Hermione botch a ritual in an attempt to stop Harry abandoning them to live his own life, Harry is left trapped within the boundaries of Hogwarts in his Seventh Year. With the other students blaming him for the bad decisions of his peers in retaliation for seeking retribution, the Staff of Hogwarts take up the role of his new family, whether he likes it or not. Strangely enough, it's the resident Potions Master who has the biggest impact on him. He just doesn't realize how big of an impact until it's almost too late.
Follow along on the various holidays and summer vacations as Harry's prison, which was once his home, is given new meaning with the help of his former teachers.
