i also give them (mostly cecil and kevin) weird pronouns, although it's not consistent throughout. if you'd like to see my master list it can be found either here on google docs or here on elipsus! in the notes of each individual fic i do say what pronouns i used for each character so no one gets confused.

Gerard hasn’t spoken directly to me in maybe an hour. He’s been muttering under his breath, fragments of lyrics, a grocery list from last Tuesday, the Latin name of a beetle he saw on a gas station window. He forgot I was in the room and then he remembered and then he forgot again. I watched him cycle through it like a radio scanning stations. I didn’t say anything. I don’t mind being forgotten. It happens a lot.
