James Potter nunca entendeu completamente o porquê de Snape sempre conseguir chamar sua atenção, ele nunca entendeu o porquê de sempre deixar seus feromônios cercarem o outro.
Ele também nunca se importou com a quantidade de vezes que Remus disse que aquilo não era saudável, que ele parecia mais obcecado pelo Sonserino do que realmente odiá-lo, como sempre afirmava.
Mas ele não tinha culpa se acreditou que Severus, Snivellus, Snape era um maldito beta, certo? Quem poderia desconfiar que aquele morcego das masmorras era um ômega masculino?
Mas agora ele estaria assumindo a responsabilidade e ele iria com tudo.

Para conseguir comprar itens de necessidade básica, o garoto se propõe a fazer os trabalhos escolares de outros alunos em troca de dinheiro.
É assim que ele mantém contato com James Potter, o monitor e capitão do time da grifinória. Potter é podre de rico e não liga pra muita coisa além de quadribol. Não vê problema em pagar os valores cobrados pelo sonserino, desde que ele faça o serviço direito.
Apesar de um depender do outro pra determinadas situações, não se dão bem e brigam com constância. É numa dessas intrigas que acabam, sob ameaças do diretor Dippet, tendo que suportar a presença um do outro.

Still, with James Potter unable to whip Lily Evans to date him, his parents send him a letter pressuring their son to find someone to marry already and give them grandchildren. Along with that letter was a single vial of Metamorphia.
Things go crazy as Severus Snape was the first to discover about the potion in James' hands. Things go even crazier when Snape asks for the vial for himself.
Worse? James is to impregnate Severus for the potion to work.

But while he was waiting for the afterlife—if there even was one—his mind suddenly began to flood with the fragmented memories of his son. Alright, no problem; he’d heard a few legends about the dead being able to watch over the lives of their loved ones.
But then, he suddenly opened his eyes to find himself at home. In his eleven-year-old body. Okay, he was certain this wasn’t the afterlife.
And why was Snivellus looking at him like that? If James’s memories weren’t betraying him, his first meeting with that boy hadn't gone down quite like this.
Whatever this strange, second-chance hell was, James Potter was certain of one thing: he definitely hadn’t signed up for it.
