To be honest it irritates me how pretty you are sometimes.” He murmurs the compliment in a thoughtful, offended tone, talking about you as if he knows you, twirling one of his thick fingers around a strand of your hair. “So brave too. You look like a scared little bunny, but you fight like a lioness.” He laughs at his own comment and you look at him with suspicious, confused eyes, squirming under the weight of his large hand as it travels from your head to your neck.
The demon was playing with his food.
