Fyodor habla de instantes. Uno sólo puede condenar la vida de un hombre y tornarla en un perpetuo sufrimiento. Por eso, Nikolai no podía matarlo en uno sólo; debía hacerlo de forma lenta e íntima para demostrar su determinación en todos ellos.
