Summary
Otto eyed the trio of men standing behind him in the mirrored walls of the elevator who were ‘escorting’ him to the lab. He’d been willing to fight his way through the building since the farce of a security check at the front door when he’d passed through metal detectors which he should’ve set off half a block away with highly suspicious ease. This was obviously a trap, but he needed the materials he’d made the appointment for badly enough to risk it, and was also curious about who might be behind this charade.
Sequel to “Along Came a Spider” but can be read as a standalone. Quasi mash-up of comic book and movie lore.

“Oh yeah.” Tony grinned, unrepentant glee radiating from his pores.

When six, horrifying little crimson words flash on his StarkWatch during second period chem lab accusing him of theft, Peter's heart gives a violent twist, desperately trying to think of what Tony could mean.
Thankfully, he doesn't have to wonder for long.

The Riddler halts. Pauses.
“What the fuck, dude?” He finally exclaims, breaking all melodramatic pretenses and slamming his hands down on the table, “Either listen to the goddamn riddle or let me kill you so we can get this exchange over with!”
Peter nods, “Sorry, sorry, my bad on that one. I finally remembered the word I was thinking of. Here, let’s make a deal this time - cross my heart I’ll keep it - so if I can’t solve your riddle you get to…” Peter gestures, leaving it open ended, and the Riddler seems to perk up.
“Kill you in a blaze of glory,” he finishes, primly, and the melodrama returns as he crosses his legs and re-steeples his hands, “And if you win? I must be fair, after all.”
“Uhh… would you mind telling me where I am?”
OR
Peter's greatest enemy is time management and also maybe the hoard of superheroes that are crawling all over Gotham.

Summary
Oww, Peter thought blandly as he shifted- no, scratch that, tried to shift- onto his back but quickly decided that wasn’t in his best interest. Voices, both his own and not, swam in his head like a wave beating against his forehead.
“They’re coming here because of me, right? Because I’m Peter Parker? So cast a new spell, make everyone forget who Peter Parker is. Make everyone forget me.”
“It wouldn’t be enough. Your very presence would destabilize this universe.”
Peter finally managed to roll himself over onto his back, ignoring the sharp pain that shot through his spine at the movement enough to sit up and look around. He was in an alley which thankfully held no occupants save himself and the trash littering the ground.
“But I can… I can send you away. To a place where there is no Peter Parker. No Spiderman.”
