When closing the portal between Amestris and Germany, things don't go as planned. Edward and Alphonse are sucked through to another version of Amestris, 6 years earlier, and with no ide how the hell they're supposed to exist at the same time a their alternate selves.

Ed could picture the light smile on Ling's face and it warmed any lingering cold in his heart. "Xing will always have its arms open to you, you know that, right?" Unfrozen, his heart jumped with newfound energy, but his mind was still coaxing him to sleep.

Derek hates to disappoint him, tonight as ever, but he needs to be available for the other spy to pass him the information, not whirling about on the dance floor. The revolution must come first, until Lady Katherine can be imprisoned for her crimes.
