Summary
What if Tanjiro had been the one who was turned into a demon at the beginning of the series? What if Nezuko was the one who became a demon slayer? Oneshots of random ideas for this thought, organized to what order they would happen in the theoretical timeline (although I might do two ideas for one instance like the pillar meeting). No idea how many I'll do

Demon Tanjiro what ifs by energonbunny
The Kamados are adorable, Giyuu has been claimed as big brother, and Urokodaki is grandpa.Also featuring Marda-the-uniform-maker getting beat up, and Tanjirou crying after being stabbed.
1. The beginning
Tanjiro is the sibling turned into a demon from the start and Nezuko becomes a demon slayer. Their first interaction with Giyu Tomioka.[She squeezed her eyes shut, certain she was about to feel teeth tearing into her. Something hot dripped down onto her chilled face and she opened her eyes to see Tanjiro that Tanjiro had embedded his teeth into his own arm and the blood was dripping down onto her face.
"Tanjiro, no!" Nezuko couldn’t do anything but watch in horror, pinned under him as she was. "You're hurting yourself! Stop!”]
2. Hinokami Kagura
Nezuko realizes that when the water forms flow together they look a little like their old ceremonial family dance. When Tanjiro shows that he still remembers how to do the hinokami kagura it unlocks something powerful inside of him.3. Hugs
Urokodaki meddles and bribes Nezuko into calling Giyuu 'big brother'. Giyuu has a surprisingly positive reaction, and Urokodaki becomes grandpa.4. Uniform
Nezuko tries on her uniform. It's a good thing she has two people she trusts there to tell her that's not how it's supposed to look, though she's not quite convinced Giyu didn't kill the kakushi and dump his body somewhere to bury later.5. First meetings
Drum demon arc. In which Nezuko accidentally kicks Inosuke in the balls, Zenitsu has a panic attack, and Tanjirou knocks Inosuke out and then cuddles him.6. Sunlight
One potential result of the pillars meeting Tanjiro. Tanjiro reacts poorly to Obanai's rough handling of Nezuko, resulting in a demon who's conquered the sun.["Shinazugawa!" Nezuko got his attention again, "You get a pass for hurting my brother this time. But if you ever touch him again and he hasn't warranted it then I will rip your dick off, chop it into tiny pieces, put it in the center of several ohagi, and feed it to you. And it will be the best damn ohagi you ever ate."]
7. Shed tears
One potential result of the pillars meeting Tanjiro. Tanjirou sees all humans as his family. When Sanemi stabs him, he bursts into tears.8. Memories
Akaza punching a fist through Tanjiro's entire skull causes a cognitive reset. Aka Tanjiro regains the humanity he lost, but loses the memories of him being a demon.[Nezuko shook her head, “How is it that I’ve lost him twice and he’s not even dead, Zenitsu?”]
9. New Clothes
Nezuko is dolled up to infiltrate the entertainment district. Tanjirou cries.[“I think it’s because of my clothing. Tanjiro always felt bad he couldn’t afford nicer things for me. If he were in his right mind he’d be horrified as to just why I looked like this, so thank the Gods he isn’t.”]
10. Second Husband
Nezuko sends Giyu a letter just before she goes undercover at the entertainment district. He shows up a couple of days later just in time to cut off Gyutaro's head before he hurts Hinatsuru, fully ready to berate her for her stupid decision.[“Fine,” Giyu conceded. “But I’m telling Kocho-chan.”
Tengen finally seemed to realize how much trouble he was in, “Wait! No, you don’t need to do that! I realize my mistake now, it was very unflashy of me!”]
11. Wasurenagusa
Konpeito is Made to be Shared. The main story.Currently covering from Nezuko going down the mountain in Tanjirou's place, to getting accepted as Urokodaki's student.
12. Tanjiro's memories
Tanjiro's POV that (mostly) follows along with KiMtbS.A stranger appears at the Kamado house in the middle of the night and they try to welcome him in out of the cold, but when he sees Tanjiro's hanafuda earrings he gets violent.
