Or: the one where Katsuki and Izuku fail the first term exam, Aizawa discovers their pasts, and Katsuki is booted from UA. Featuring questionable descriptions of villain organizations, a slightly illegal moving shop, and your favorite emotionally constipated badass in distress with a newly discovered penchant for collecting strays.

UA expels Katsuki and doesn't check up on him. The LoV make a failed recruitment and nomufication attempt, Katsuki fights back against All for One's quirk stealing, and as a result boom boi sees quirk factors as colourful aura shit.
After a failed recruitment and then nomufication attempt by the LoV, man sees quirk factors as colourful aura shit, good grandma takes in Katsuki as her assistant at their moving Sun shop, some fun zombie times and trauma occur, Eri is kidnapped from the villains, and it's not Katsuki's fault he's on the Christmas wishlist of just about every villain out there like bruh he just wants to be left alone at this point.2. Because Obito's life is bullshit, instead of dying he ends up being hurled into a World where people set themselves on fire more often than your regular Uchiha. Oh joy.
Obito is angry, extra and salty as fuck. He has some annoying - albeit funny - run-ins with the knock-off Akatsuki before they get rounded up for their brunch club.
[Oh, now the boss man was doing that thin smiling thing where he tried very hard not to sneer. Obito gave him points for politeness.
"I'm sure I can arrange some form of payment for your help." He even managed to keep the condencing in moderation. What a nice man.
"I'd like to know more about the target first, if you don't mind." Obito smiled sweetly behind his mask "Cos' it could be The Pope. I don't want to kill the Pope!"
There was a silence and then, "It's not the Pope," came the strangled reply.
"Oh, good. Then I don't mind taking a look." Obito took a step forward and waved at his fingers in a 'gimme' gesture.]
[There's a giddy feeling inside his stomach, but he's not entirely sure of the cause. Might be that all the parallels are giving his cracked psyche something to laugh about. A mysterious masked man has invited him to join an infamous group of criminals. Isn't that just novel. Who would have though something like this would happen? Is this even reality anymore? Skull is indeed very shocked!
Also little disappointed. The masked man had been almost polite if you ignored his generally threatening air and his rather insisted demeanour that made it Crystal clear that Skull would be attending their little criminal meeting or else.
The other man had finished their rather one-sided conversation with throwing some hooked information about Flames and exciting new powers. Skull is sure a normal confused civilian would have taken the bait eagerly.
Obito had just mentally narrowed his eyes and loudly criticized the other man's delivery.
Really, that's it? That's all you are going to do? This sort of luke-warm shit would never have worked with Akatsuki. Their modus operandi in the beginning had been to fully acknowledge that the people they were inviting were uncooperative assholes that would hardly heed polite invitations.
It was fine to spare few words of enticement and try to charm the other Missings Nins into getting interested in their little Mercenary Organisation. And when that inevitably failed, they let an ugly thug (Konan) to beat them till the Candy fell out and drag their Still somewhat live carcasses back to the headquarters by their ankles.]

Tim gets burned every single time.[More tears slip out, even though Tim’s face stays blank, and he rubs them away impatiently, like they’re an inconvenience and not the very things making Bruce’s stomach churn.
“Tim. Are you okay? I –“
“I’m fine. Can you go?” Tim says, level, like he’s asking for a cup of coffee. “Please?”
“Tim-“
“Get out, Bruce.” Tim snaps, picks his keys up off the floor and throws them on the counter, glaring at the takeout sitting innocently on the counter before turning red eyes back to him, simmering with hurt and anger. “Next time you decide to remember I exist, call first.”]
["Alfred, can I sit in here with you? Please?" He pleads, leaning heavily on the door of Alfred's private quarters, not able to keep the tremble out of his voice. He was doing better, until suddenly he wasn't and he can't stop shaking as his skin sears, and he thinks he'll puke if he can't escape the sheer amount of activity in the manor right now.
A few minutes later, he's apologizing as he does indeed puke in Alfred's private bathroom, and the older man shushes him and keeps talking about the book he's reading to distract him.
"I thought it was over." He sobs out into the bathmat when he's done, clenching his teeth against the pain. "I want it to be over."
"It will not be forever." Alfred soothes, wiping the sweat from his brow and petting his arm, and it reminds him so much of Bruce the first day he'd gotten hit that he cries even harder, and then has to pull himself up to throw up some more.]

When Katniss volunteered for Prim, Kakashi volunteered for Katniss.In which Solanum Everdeen uses her family to keep her sane, rebirth allows her to see her previous self's precious people in a different light, for all that Kakashi had a hard life he never starved, Solanum has to fight Katniss after they both volunteer for Primm
and the fight is over in seconds, she scores an 11 at the Training Centre, masterfully directs her interview, makes some bets, does a mad trickshot to kill a Career, and challenges the Gamemakers and the Capitol's surveillance ("Tributes will die, and these cameras won't catch a thing.").[Sometimes, during situations like this, Solanum couldn't help but wish that she was more like Kakashi than she was Solanum.
(She was Kakashi but he wasn't her and for all intents and purposes, her relative inexperience was working against her.)
(Solanum only got the essence, you see, and barely anything from his missions and his experience as a leader. As a spy. As a jounin.)
(Although Hatake Kakashi spent most of his life doing missions for the village, leading covert operations in order to protect the Konoha's assets, he didn't count these experiences as an integral part of his being - of who he was as a person.)

In a world where Zenitsu and Kaigaku are the same age, Zenitsu is the one that encounters Upper Moon One.Cute roleswap in which Zenitsu becomes a tiny shrinking demon, Kaigaku is Chronically Anemic, and the thundery bros acquire a dad and three mothers.
[Kaigaku turns his sword toward himself and splices a cut at his forearm. He cringes when the blood spills, trailing down his arm, toward his palm.
Zenitsu gasps, reaching up to cover his mouth. “Wait, what are you do—”
“You need to recover,” Kaigaku says, stepping forward. “Then we need to fucking run.” ]
2. throw caution to the wind (fresh air on my skin)
In this world, Sanemi realises Genya's been turned into a demon too, and he will stop at nothing to make sure they stay together. Masachika gains two brothers, and Gyomei gains some kids.[“What’d you just say about my younger brother you little shit—”
“Wait wait! Nemi, no! That’s human!” Genya yells, like a dog owner yelling for heel , “you can’t fight humans, that’s a crime!” They have never cared about whether whatever is a crime but using morality as a crux seemed like a good idea at the time.
“Oh he’s human? Great! He’ll die if I stab him!”
“NEMI, DO NOT.”
Masachika has no idea how to deal with this. Somehow it’s the demon desperately holding back his human brother and telling him to run before he gets killed, by the human brother. By all means, this does not make sense.]

1. Team: Crash and Burn
Sakura straight up mercs her opponent, and Kakashi is socially incompetent.[“Sakura led her opponent to underestimate her, had good form, and showed no hesitation in her attack. However, she could have stood further away and thrown the Kunai. It would leave her in a better position to counter and would not impede on the speed or surprise of her maneuver,” Kakashi said blankly like he was giving a mission report.
Silence.
Right, Sakura couldn’t just fix those mistakes. He was her sensei, he had to help her.
“I will teach her a concealment genjutsu to improve her attack.”
Asuma stares at him in disbelief and a little horror. It is a look Kakashi hasn’t seen from him in a long time.
Kakashi pats Sakura on the head, hoping this’ll be what pleases people.
Sakura beams up at him. It’s the happiest she’s been with him since he’s met her. So he must be doing something right.
Kakashi looks around helplessly and catches Gai's eyes. Gai shakes his head slightly.]
2. The Second Strongest Uchiha
Sasuke finds out about Kakashi's Sharingan in Wave.[Sasuke twitches a little, the itch growing stronger.
He was being paranoid. Sakura is just a social climber and Naruto is just a loud-mouthed idiot.
Sasuke decides killing Kakashi is something a paranoid crazy Uchiha might do.]
3. Hatake Kakashi’s disclaimer for the chidori
Kakashi gives Sasuke a disclaimer for the chidori, there is liberal use of self-inflicted genjutsu involved, and Sasuke does not take the intended message.[Sasuke’s eyes are wide and desperate. Wow he really got through to the kid. (Guess it’s a good thing he never convinced Inoichi to rip it all out of his head. No Kakashi it’ll lobotomize you. Bitch maybe he wanted to lobotimized.) All it took was a heart to heart and some powerful self-inflicted genjutsu so he didn’t commit suicide in the middle of telling the story.
“Sensei please,” Sasuke gasps.
“Please what Sasuke,” Kakashi asks gently.
“Obito’s me the useless Uchiha the blight on the clans name, Naruto is Rin the extra who is nice towards everyone even enemy ninja , and Sakura’s going to rip my eyes out and kill Naruto for treason.”
“What?”]

Sakura's parents and uncle are assholes, Sakura can and will kill a man, she develops the mokuton and the trees start speaking to her, and the Wave mission's A-rank pay is enough to afford an apartment.[His thumb presses into the black bruise under her cheekbone, drawing more tears, “See, as long as you’re quiet, and follow our Rules.” His thumb lifts, “You’ll be safe. You just have to tell me you don’t want to be a ninja.”
Sakura, nearly 8 years old, covered in bruises, crying, and wishing for nothing but relief, can't bring herself to say the words. Instead, what slips from her lips is,
“I want to be a kunoichi.”
All warmth disappears from her uncle’s expression, “If you want to be a weapon, Sakura.” He jams the kunai back into her hand, forcefully crushing her fingers over the handle, “Then you will be a weapon.”]

Sakura sees ghosts, and makes friends with the dead and demons.In which Sakura cannot separate the living from the dead, she learns from some of Konoha’s most dangerous shinobi (that were killed in fear of their prowess if they were to defect), Ino was once her friend but got her committed into a psych ward, the Wave Mission goes differently when Gato mysteriously gets his throat slit, Sakura is the Shinigami and becomes the Red Light District's goddess, and Konoha has a dark underbelly.
[Sakura thinks of children in masks they shoved off into war because they were promising, children that they couldn’t honor on the stone because they were ANBU and they were too young for it, and Konoha was the friendly village . Thinks of adults and teens and everyone in between who were sent on suicide missions they knew they wouldn’t come back from but went through with anyways because it is for the village.
Kabuto forfeits the exams before they even begin, and none of the jounin try to stop him.
There are no words about disgracing Konoha, no words of insulting their guests, there are no lectures on embarrassing the Hokage in front of people from the other villages.
And Sakura seethes.]
