Alex’s smile widened. “Is that what you think I’m doing?” he asked, amused. “Trying to be sexy?”
Ironically, Alex saying the word sexy in that stupid way of his, scrunching up his nose and overenunciating its sibilance, should have been even less sexy. Unfortunately, as with so many of the stupid things that Alex said in the ways he knew irritated Greg most, it had somewhat of the opposite effect.
Greg shook his head again, tearing his eyes away. “Mate, the day I try to figure out what you’re doing is the day I finally go mad.”

A collaborative fic written by LadyJekyll and Illuminescence – with the prompt “Fake Dating”. Alternating chapters from Alex’s PoV and Greg’s PoV (by Illuminescence and LadyJekyll respectively), we surprised ourselves, tossed the hot potato of plot twists and cliffhangers at each other, and ended up with 40k of flirting, misunderstandings, and fake dates!
