Jason Todd wants to go back to school, rekindle his relationship with his siblings, and live a life he can be happy with. He meets a man in an elevator that makes the rage in him freak out, but two words from the man has them settling like a tamed dog.

Luckily, it turns out that NASA is insanely well-funded here, and superpowers are a hell of a lot more normalized. Only problem is, he doesn't officially exist. And when he learns that superpowers have an established presence here, he's not sure whether he's actually safe or not. So when he meets another teenager with powers, he's got balance the opportunity for friendship against the myriad risks of being known. But if he's smart about it, maybe he can finally build himself a life where he doesn't have to fight to be happy or help people.

Tim had spent most of his life in foster care, now attending GSU, he just wanted to get through his Bachelors, live quietly with his cat, Todd, and be grateful every day for endless coffee supplied by his coffee shop job.
At least that was the plan till he came home from a late night shift at said coffee shop to one of Gotham's most notorious vigilantes passed out against his door.
Tim chose to blame his lack of survival skills on not being raised in Gotham and pointedly ignored his cat's judgmental gaze when he dragged the unconscious man inside.
Hopefully, the only trigger happy vigilante in Gotham didn't see fit to point the barrel in Tim's direction.

“You really expect me to believe that?” They rasped, their lack of respirator no doubt putting immense stress on their lungs. The few times Jango had removed his own helm to eat or drink had left him aching from the relentless dust that hung in the air.
“What’s left of the ship is out in the bog, I wouldn’t recommend the trip though.” Jango offered, absently noting that more of the stranger’s weight seemed to be increasingly supported by his own grip on their too prominent hips.
