Summary
Out of nowhere, Darth Vader starts having surprisingly vivid fantasies about his long dead padawan, Ahsoka Tano. He indulges in the escape and even as he claims to lose himself in it, he tries desperately to keep one mechanical foot firmly in reality. He doesn't really know why it's her he's fantasizing about or what prompted them, but he's enjoying them all the same. That is until they start to change. Unbeknownst to him, she's experiencing similar dreams. But neither know the other is alive, so the possibility it's real is ruled out on either end. Well... at least until the fantasy shifts into a surprising shared reality and then suddenly, they have to figure out what was really going on and what to do now. But when he's unable to find her again in his fantasies, he's convinced that Sidious somehow thwarted the last tiny thing in his life that brought him joy or comfort.
