"Lister takes a final drag on the cheroot as he tries to get up the nerve to say it. Glancing up, his eyes meet Ace’s. Lister’s been around long enough to recognise that look.
“Um, I know you’ve got a bad arm, but if you’re interested-”
“Yes.” The single word in Ace’s clipped military tones sounds odd, given the strength of feeling packed into it. The Commander suddenly sounds - not desperate, but definitely urgent."

Summary
Victorian London, a year after the events of "Blood Of The Smegged". Benevolent polyamorous vampire couple Count Arnold Rimmer and Dave Lister find their peaceful existence disrupted when the predatory Count Dracula targets their human lover Dr Frank Van Todhunter.
Whilst it does help if you've already read "BOTS", this fic can be understood without having done so.
The BOTS / EOTS-verse is a Red Dwarf AU influenced somewhat by Dracula but also Hammer Horror and vampire films in general. In keeping with RD, it's mostly played for comedy. Kryten is a faithful immortal retainer and Cat is a werecat.

Summary
Rimmer-as-Ace gets drunk after a mission where he reunited a Kochanski with a Lister. When he wakes up with a hangover, Wildfire’s computer tells him that the ship’s dream recorder recorded the feverish dream he had based upon the film he just watched on repeat.
"Unable to stop watching, Rimmer turned scarlet as his high-heeled double dramatically flung aside his cape to reveal what he was … almost wearing. The sparkly purple-black basque and fishnet stockings and suspenders were purposely designed to draw as much attention to the areas they weren’t concealing as those which they just about were.
But that wasn’t even the worst part; it was the attitude. Seeing himself posing and strutting like a - like a particularly kinky Mimas streetwalker was indescribable."
