Todd had thought he was talking to Cameron, but Charlie, sunglasses pushed up into his auburn hair, was looking at him. The music boomed through the speakers; the room hot with sweat. Neil’s eyes were burning the side of his face.

Laughter, hilarious and wonderful. Neil held onto Charlie’s shoulder as his body shook. Eyes, coffee-warm and alight with joy, locked on Todd’s. He took a step forward, held out his hand. “Do me the honour?”

Neil winked at him.
And Todd did not know how it happened, could not remember making the decision that his body took for him - just felt Neil's fingers wrap around his as he grasped his hand.

The constant, overbearing presence of the other man was stirring up something within Henry, which he couldn't find the words for. He only knew that when Bunny wasn't around he could forget, at least for a moment, the dull ache of something much deeper than he was ready to reach for.
