When Emma came to Storybrooke, she breathed life into Regina Mills. She broke the endless cycle of boredom, loneliness and despair that Regina was subjected to for 28+ years. I firmly believe the cracks in Regina’s heart were healed by the love and happiness Emma and Henry brought to her world. I attempt to explore that concept in this video.

It's not a very pleasant thing for both of them - after one highly unpleasant incident in High School they hoped life wouldn't ever bring them together. Meeting her ex-best friend is a dubious pleasure for Emma. Considering the fact she was in love with her back then.
