Jesse laughs, leaning back and away and letting Hanzo continue to complain as he pulls up the mission file on his phone again.
“You’re thinkin’ too hard about this. It’s gonna be a good time. Don’t you like gettin’ dressed up… cool disguises… incognito?” McCree scrolls through the briefing before settling once again on the target of the evening; Satya Vaswani, codename Symmetra. A hoity-toity Vishkar representative that was supposed to appear at this shindig.
“Disguises are one thing… this is… putting on a leather jacket and ruining my hair,” Hanzo replies with a grumble, leaning back in his chair. He looks up when McCree holds the phone out toward him, and takes it, peering down at it with the grumpy expression still on his face. “I hate these people.”

McCree and Hanzo have to go undercover at a greaser-themed party celebrating the 300th anniversary of Los Angeles to keep an eye on Vishkar's top agent, a woman named Satya Vaswani. It's weird, but they do their part. And then some.

Summary
This began as a pre-Overwatch, military backstory for Jack and Gabe, and has grown into something rather larger than I initially intended. This story is meant to run as closely parallel to the official canon as possible, as far as it has been revealed. It will eventually catch up with the game chronologically and will likely surpass it, in which case, it will obviously become canon-divergent. The characters I have written are necessarily far more complex and fully fleshed-out than the game characters are able to be, due to the mode of play and paucity of lore surrounding the game's narrative. As such, they should be treated only as an artist's interpretation, not as by-the-book facsimiles (meaning that they will likely diverge in some ways from the official canon and some popular fan-canons, and I will not be altering them to suit either). All the events of the story are integral to laying a foundation for the characters' later actions and choices and to demonstrating who they were, relative to who they eventually become. That said, this piece is very sexually explicit, so just to be safe, let's call it good old-fashioned smut.

Not that they're going to let any of that stop them. They've both wanted it too badly, and for way too long, to give up now. They're going to make it work or kill each other trying.

The white shirts are the worst. They’re just translucent enough that Gabe swears he can see the faint hint of a pink nipple sometimes, maybe a muted flash of silver if he wishes really hard. When Jack sweats, the material sticks even more to his chest and abs, showing off the muscle, the suggestion of firm flesh. But it’s never enough, never clear enough for Gabriel to come to any conclusions about Jack’s alleged nipple piercings.
