Summary
Everyone knows the tragic story of Loop. A version of Siffrin who never escaped their prison of time, who only got themselves locked in an identical prison with a different role to play. But time is one of the most unstable forces; a single ripple can cause a tsunami of change. When Siffrin wasn't the only one to wish on that star, it got split in two, and a brand new actor is welcomed late to the stage.
(Or; Loop's Isabeau follows them across time, and to him, Siffrin is, and always will be, himself.)

Summary
You can't blinding sleep. It's the middle of the night, you're next to Isabeau, the top of your tent is dark enough for you to be able to pretend it's the clocktower's roof and the night isn't even warm or chilly, it's just that stupid lukewarm temperature you're used to (It's so familiar. You can almost believe you’re there).

There is a distant sound from below. You startle and whirl around to see a bright dot stumbling towards the base of the tree. Curious, you clumsily make your way down the woven branches and stand just above the little nook you and Loop used to theorize, plan, and chat in.
The figure falls to their knees, clutching their face as shaky sobs interlaced with harsh breathing leaves them. They claw at their bangs and, in a frustrated movement, rip the hat off their head so that they can better pull at their darkless hair. They scream, not in agony, but in anguish. You—

“It’s… raining?” You say, testing the words out in your mouth. Tastes strange, fake, like a bad scene change.
