Summary
He outfits and decorates Auguste’s horse. He braids blue ribbons into the stallion’s mane. Paints gold Kemptian symbols of protection on the hooves of the stallion. Attaches round bells to the horse’s bridle, so that every time he shakes his head they chime, the miniature chain connecting them gleams in the sun.
Laurent hopes they remind Auguste of his little brother and his pleas for peace.
Auguste pats his head once before he rides off. His father does not look at him.
The threads closing his mouth fray. He could tell, begging them to stay.
Uncle’s grip tightens on his shoulder as they watch their figures disappear into the cavalry, to head the battle.
New threads stitch his lips together as Uncle leads him back inside his private tent. If Laurent knew how, he would wrench himself free but his head is floating away.(He’s scared.)

“And that game is?” Daichi had fairly growled. He already had a feeling that he was about to conscript himself to months of torment.
“It's rather like a game of hide-and-go-seek,” Koushi had said, turning to a glass of water on the nightstand and taking a sip from it before he continued. “Once I am fit and ready for…amorous activities, I will hide somewhere in the Palace and you,” He said, cutting his eyes towards Daichi over his glass and releasing some of his sweet scent. Daichi had gone stock still, the desire coursing through his veins like lightning.
“Will try to find me,” Koushi said, corners of his mouth tipped upward at his mates’ growl.

The doll looks like Koushi, though his hair is white and his eyes are blue. He has a minuscule mating gland on his neck when the blue ribbon that covers it is untied, just like how Koushi’s Mama has him do whenever they leave home.
No one else in his family has a mating gland, not like Koushi.

Summary
Tim Drake is the Stray: snarky genius child and protege to Selina Kyle. His primary after-school activities consist of running around Gotham dressed as a cat, stealing shit from mob bosses, petting animals, and generally being an agent of mild chaos.
Things get even more chaotic when a new Robin appears on the scene, unafraid of the world and eager to stop criminals like Tim.
But who knows? They could become friends. And given a few years, maybe even brothers.
