It is a strange thing, to wake inside the life you once only dreamed of. No more borrowed breath. No more body waiting under glass and wire. Only the forest, and the truth of flesh made permanent.
She had wanted this once. Now she has it. Daughter of the Omatikaya. Healer. Sister. A woman remade by Eywa, by grief, by devotion, and by the terrifying mercy of being given exactly what she once begged for. But a second life is still a life. It must be learned. Root by root. Through the ache of a new body, the weight of old memories, the laughter of children beneath the forest canopy, and the slow, dangerous tenderness of a warrior who looks at her as though she is the first light after years of war.
Peace does not come easily to a world that has already bled. Love does not erase what came before. And belonging, can become the most dangerous thing of all. For when old enemies return, when secrets sharpen beneath silence, and when forgotten children wake in the shadow of another war, the life she chose will no longer be something she can simply live.
It will be something she must protect. Even if protection means leaving pieces of her heart behind.

Te'siri te Smìi Lumie’ite is a fearsome warrior of the Omatikaya. Sculpted by the war against the Sky People after Grace Augustine's school was destroyed. They could finally end this ongoing battle and live in peace. She could be happy with her love for the new Olo'eyktan, Tsu'tey.

Te'siri struggles with grief after the loss of the one person that meant everything to her. Over the many years of peace away from the Sky People, she feels a weird sense of guilt as she slowly falls for the strong hunter of the Trr'ong who had saved her during the battle.
Whenever he's there, peace feels possible to her.
Until the Sky People return... and everything changes. She leaves her clan, joins the Resistance, and meets a family member whom she thought was lost to the world.
