IN WHICH Senku and his wife got into an argument two months after their marriage, which led to them finally having their first night together. Angry sex is the best, especially with that pent-up sex drive.
Senku pressed his palm flat against the centre of her chest, just above her sternum. She gasped, partly at the touch, partly at the way his words tangled with it.
"Cortisol drops. Dopamine spikes," he continued, as if reciting from memory while his fingers swept lightly beneath the hem of the shirt she wore. "Pleasure response. Reward circuitry. It's all happening now, every signal firing in real-time... just because I'm kissing you."

“Sounds exciting,” you muttered, equally sardonic. “This event should be written in the history books, don't you think? A whole chapter on what we did to give this world another genius.”
This prompted a chuckle from him. “I beg to differ.”
