Summary
Baz and Simon have been next door neighbours and best friends as far back as they can remember. Then, the summer after they turn 17, their feelings start to change and deepen for one another. Just as the two boys are beginning to realize how they feel, Simon disappears with his mum, Lucy,--leaving Baz completely heartbroken.
Years later, Simon's friend Shepard invites him to play an online game of Dungeons and Dragons through Discord. Simon doesn't know any of the other players but there is something distinctly familiar about the wizard in the party, if only he could put his finger on just what it is.

This is definitely not finished. But here’s what you need to know:
The world has made all magic illegal.
Isla McKade knows this much is true: magic can be used for good and evil it just depends on how you use it ( or your intent). And she doesn’t want to use much of it. Not any more- minor spells and potions, her magical sobriety wouldn’t last if it weren’t for some vices.
But her twin brother has gone MIA since the Incident- and Gary, her high school boyfriend is back in her life and asking her for help- to save his little sister from ending up like the two of them- in jail, broken down or worse.
Tensions are high with the government’s new laws against magical creatures and magical items.
Isla’s reputation precedes her- the hack of a witch who ruined magic for everyone- and doing magic, even for the greater good, would be a risk, one she normally would not be willing to take.
But doing this one thing… helping Gary out, after everything her past mistakes have put him through… Well, it could makeup for all the pain and suffering she has caused. Maybe. She could help, but should she?

Summary
When a creature comes after Simon, but finds Baz instead, Baz ends up sick for the first time since he was turned. Simon tries to take care of Baz, but the Humdrum's plan went beyond simply making Simon sick, forcing them both to rely on each other.

Summary
Back at Watford I was always on the ball with these things. I spent years suspecting he was a vampire and yet here I am, completely oblivious. Sometimes I feel as though I left all of that at Watford, like Baz took on a new identity when we left, like that’s an old life that I’m not a part of anymore.
Sometimes I forget that I’m not the only one with scars. My tail flicks pointedly.
Or; 5 times Simon forgot that Baz was a vampire, and 1 time he didn't.
