Summary
It's eight years post-war, and Hermione Granger has got her shit together. She worked hard to get past her trauma from the war. She finished her education. Now, she heads up her own division of the Department of Mysteries, she travels the world studying ancient rituals, and she's got a perfectly balanced life that is absolutely going to stay that way, thank you very much.
Meanwhile, Draco Malfoy has made a new life for himself in France. He, too, has worked through his war trauma, finished his education, and built himself a fulfilling career. His life doesn't need to be shaken up by a series of international murders that just so happens to bring him home to England and force him to collaborate with the girl he tormented for the entirety of their school years.
Now, Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy are chasing a ritualistic killer and simultaneously discovering that the person they are working with is not the same as the one they used to know.
Featuring (mostly) emotionally healthy characters, meddling friends, long conversations, and smutty sandwich-making, with a side of murder and a sprinkling of snark.

I come in peace, even if hearing from me in this way brings you anything but. Your late wife has named me as one of your son’s guardians, as I am sure you are already aware. I’d express my condolences for your loss, but Theo has heavily suggested to me that your marriage with Astoria was not one based in either love or respect. I shall instead express my sadness that your son will not get the chance to know his mother. I am sorry.

Summary
After returning from an 18-month assignment with the Department of Mysteries, Hermione discovers that her old life in England has changed. Summary
Hermione waited for him to open his eyes and slipped her fingertips between the buttons of his shirt again. The guarded expression reappeared on Draco's face. He searched hers, and when she smiled at the same time as she stroked over his scales, he exhaled heavily.
"I'm—"
"Half a dragon, I know." Hermione pulled his shirt out of his trousers and flicked the bottommost button open.
"—not fully human."
"I figured that out when I felt the scales." She looked down and opened the next button. His lower torso shimmered in the ambient lighting as he flexed his abdomen involuntarily. Her breath caught. "Beautiful."
He put his fingers under her chin and tipped her head up until he caught her eyes. "I'm not fully human, Hermione."
Finally, it clicked.
