This fic has me ill in all the ways… I can’t remember the last time i wanted to engorge myself on a piece of media so badly to the point where it occupied my every living thought for days… I had to force myself to take breaks it was dreadful…Also the longest fic i’ve ever read and it actually held my attention the whole way through which is insane and unheard of actually… but anyways: Mad sexy aesthetic right up my alley… Haunted coasts and an old mill (also haunted) and robots (also haunted) with baggage. And a non reader mc with baggage!! Really did not expect to get so attached to Cricket as a character, i really love them. I really love all of the characters honestly i didn’t expect to fall for all the DCA OCs so hard they’re all so lovingly rendered and thought out. I’m so deeply distraught that the fic is already almost 700k plus words and not more has happened i am burning with need to dissect all of these characters and know everything about them… But also authors sexy writing and sexy world building was so interesting i couldn’t ask for a thing to be changed… Woe is me what a predicament… Author if you see this i love you.

This was a good cheesy feel good read with everything i like. I really loved it.. The unique start of it being post fire was really neat. And i loved the inclusion of all the side characters. Especially MC’s relationships with Vanessa and Gregory… They really did become a little family. And though i’m happy the main couple got out and can be together i appreciate the implication that they'll be visiting everyone else again soon because it always makes me a little sad when they don’t. I’m gonna pretend they find a way to all hang out regularly. 💕🤧 Also Iris by the googoodolls came on shuffle during the last section of the epilogue and that shit made it 10x emotional LOL. 💕
