Jim took off running.
He had been here before. Running to reach Spock after he had given his life to save the Enterprise. Arms holding him back, telling him it was too late. Spock’s hand against the glass that parted them.
“Spock.” Pain and anger crept into his voice. He put a hand on Spock’s knee and felt him shiver. “You don’t have to face this alone. I would give my life for you if I could, and right now, this is what I can do.” Spock’s eyes remained closed; he gave no sign he’d heard. “It is illogical to die when there is a way to survive."

"Mhmm," Anakin hummed, his lips stretching into a lazy grin. "Let's move here."
"Move to an uninhabited moon?" Obi-Wan remarked mildly. He continued to idly run his fingers through Anakin's hair, making Anakin's toes curl from the easy, uncomplicated bliss sparking along his nerve endings. If human bodies were capable of it, Anakin was certain he would have been purring by now. "That seems rather extreme. Even by your standards."
Or: Anakin and Obi-Wan are together, but there are still some things left unsaid between them.
