    Summary

Logan looks into his eyes- the effect is so much deeper with him than with anyone else; He can see Scott’s eyes, despite the ruby quartz, which makes it all the more intimate— and quickly looks back down at his claws. He retracts them. “People do crazy things for love.”

Right. Because Logan is in love with Scott’s wife.

It feels so natural for Scott— to exist, just the three of them— that he tends to forget his happiness brings Logan pain.

He picks up Logan’s hand and caresses the space between his knuckles. There’s still a bit of dried blood, creating an outline of his claws, and Scott wipes it away.

“Sometimes I worry that because your skin heals so fast, you try to make everything else fix itself on that timeline too... Just because the scar is gone doesn’t mean the pain wasn’t real.”

This is all very, soft. Through the whole fic you get a feeling of acceptance. Scott is constantly in his mind and compartmentalizing his surroundings. He goes with the flow, but he also knows that as the leader, his team looks at him for guidance. This leads to a interesting mental dynamic as it seems like he is always planning for contingencies, leading by example, noticing his surroundings, and has a unique awareness of both himself and the effect his actions have on his team. It leads to him constantly overthinking and getting stuck in his head, heightening his anxiety and making him second guess his choices. Thankfully he has both Jean and Logan to pull him out consistently. And after Scott finally acknowledges his feelings for Logan, he becomes even more self reflective. For better and for worse, as Scott suddenly shifts from joyful and accepting of his feelings, to scared that the shift in dynamic’s between him, Jean, and Logan will affect the rest of the team and his ability to lead or make difficult decisions. It all comes down to a talk with Ororo before he gradually begins to accept the changes.

It is important to note that Scott is not against the relationship, but more so that the idea of change scares him.

Also also, fun stuff in this fic!
    a) Scott being absolutely clueless to the idea that Logan is confessing his feelings about Scott straight to his face, and just keeps thinking that Logan is talking about Jean. Meaning everything just fly’s right over his head and he is suddenly very conscious about the fact that Logan has been in love with Jean for a long time.
    b) everyone clocking the fact that the the three slept together for the first time immediately.
    c) Jean letting Scott and Logan figure out their feelings themselves instead of just saying that they love each other.

    Summary

“There he is,” Bernard said. “You flying in all dramatic just for us?”

“Maybe,” Kon said, rubbing the back of his neck.

“Aw, he’s shy tonight,” Bernard teased, standing up and padding over. “Don’t worry, we’ll ruin that soon enough.”

Tim snorted behind him, and Kon blinked because—okay—maybe he wasn’t the only one who was nervous. There was a charge in the air now. Something unspoken.

They were all aware of what tonight meant.

Bernard got close enough to rest a hand on Kon’s chest, just lightly. Like he was checking to see if Kon was real, or maybe just giving him the chance to pull back if he needed to. He didn’t.

“Seriously,” Bernard said, a little softer now. “We figured we’d talk about what everyone’s comfortable with. What’s on the table. What’s not. And then—” he smiled, eyes flicking between Kon and Tim, “—we get to the fun.”

Kon nodded. His mouth was dry, but not from fear. Just anticipation.

    “Cool,” he said. “Let’s talk.”

Or 25k words of Kon freaking out over his biology being different and Bernard and Tim being stupidly chill.

This is just a lot of words on Kon being sexy and showing his boys his biology(insecure at first) and his boys finding him the hottest man alive. Mating urges and all. Its really a fun read and by god is it sexy as hell.

    Tim opened his mouth.

    Closed it.

Looked at Kon, flushed all the way to his ears.

    “…Shut up,” he muttered.

    Bernard cackled.

Kon purred softly, smug and unbothered. “So that’s a yes?”

Tim let out a sigh, covering his face with one hand. “I’ll help you with your extremely specific, alien reproductive science project, yes.”

Bernard, still grinning, said, “It’s not weird. It’s just smart.”

Kon stretched, slow and lazy, then rolled onto his back and said, silk-smooth:

“I just want to feel both of you in me,” he said. “Then feel your come drip out of me.”

Tim sputtered . Bernard made a noise that could only be described as broken.

    And Kon?

Kon just smiled like the devil and closed his eyes.

He lay there smug and relaxed, sprawled like a cat in a sunbeam, arms folded behind his head, eyes half-lidded and glinting with sin. His skin was still glowing faintly from afterglow and exertion, and his tone had dipped into something low , and smooth .

Tim had buried his face in his hands. Bernard looked like he was trying to decide between bolting out of the room or climbing back on top of Kon.

“Y’know,” Kon drawled, voice as smooth as honey over bourbon, “y’all are real cute when you’re flustered.”

That accent —soft, lazy, that casual Smallville drawl— dripped from his mouth like warm syrup, and it hit hard . Tim peeked at him between his fingers with a half-broken glare.

“Oh no,” Bernard muttered, pointing like he was staring down a predator. “ Nope . That voice is a weapon. ”

Kon turned his head toward him, grin spreading slow and sinful. “What, this?” he asked, drawing the words out just enough. “C’mon, sugar. Can’t be my fault you two lose your minds every time I open my mouth.”

Tim made a noise that sounded like it physically hurt him. “You’ve been holding that drawl hostage this whole time?”

Kon shrugged one bare shoulder. “Grew up with it. First year outta CADMUS, I didn’t know nothin’ but cow fields and homemade pie. Spent every damn day learnin’ how to string words together nice and easy so I didn’t scare the neighbors.”

Bernard made the mistake of groaning.

    Out loud.

“Oh, no, ” Tim muttered, throwing a pillow at Bernard, who dodged too late. “Don’t encourage him.”

Kon turned the full force of that slow Southern smirk toward Bernard, his voice dipping even lower .

“You alright over there, darlin’? You look a little—warm.”

Bernard's mouth opened and closed. “I—this is unfair. ”

Kon licked his lips slowly . “Ain’t nothin’ unfair ‘bout speakin’ plain. I just think if someone’s gonna be in me, it oughta be with the kind of manners a Kent would approve of.”

Tim actually groaned, dragging a hand down his face. “ Kon. ”

Kon stretched again, casual, feral satisfaction radiating off him. “What? I’m just bein’ hospitable.”

Bernard slumped backward against the mattress, muttering, “I’m gonna pass out.”

    Kon chuckled, low and pleased.

He blinked, the afterglow still pulsing warm and slow through his limbs, head pleasantly heavy against the pillow. The room smelled like sex and skin and comfort—his favorite kind of messy.
