Scars littered his wrists and throat, bruises there too, chemical burns. He’d stopped letting the immortality take away the marks.

Odiaba su vida, su cabello castaño, el color de sus ojos, su cuerpo, sus labios, su sonrisa. Odiaba ceder con una rosa después de que "ella" tuviera un ataque de celos, odiaba el dolor de sus caderas después de tener relaciones. La hacía sentir sucia, enferma, le provocaba arcadas y unas ganas alarmantes de quedarse dormida mientras ella la tocaba y le repetía que era una buena niña.
Pero estaba bien. Porque en el fondo de todas las drogas, los conciertos hasta la madrugada, el poco respeto que le tenía al tener relaciones, el dolor en sus piernas, el dolor en su corazón, Amity sabía que la amaba.
